My little girl...

With the new hair cut, I can't help but thinking, my little girl is growing up...

Ok, ok...so she's not voting or bringing home boys, but still, it seems like yesterday she was in the NICU and now she's rockin' her first big girl hair cut (and she really is rocking it=) )

Don't you just love it though...I mean...C'MON!

I wanted to take a minute to share a Cadence baby story, for posterity's sake, on this milestone day:

I used to love when Cadence would wake up in the morning because I'd go into her "room" and as soon as I'd enter she'd absolutely light up with the biggest baby smile ever! It made me feel loved like I had never felt loved before...and let's be serious, I've never been starving for love. I think that those mornings were when I realized I was a mom...you know? I was responsible for this little smiling girl, smiling or not.

Friend, our children are growing up...a little bit more and more everyday...got a story for the "posterity files"?

So, I've been busying myself lately with making my house a home and I'm loving it! I thought I'd share a bit with you, seeing as how your "contributions" have been the inspiration=)

All I Want to Know is, WHY?

Why?
Why would my 3 year old, being in her right mind, think it was a good idea to flood my bathroom with soapy water, all while lying by omission when I called up the stairs, "What are you doing" to receive the response, "Nothing..."

Why would she do such a thing, and why would she lie...

It makes me sad that children will do these things even though us moms give them EVERYTHING we got!

Oh well...I guess I'll get over it...

I just want to know...WHY?!

=)

yay!

i'm SO excited.
so so SO excited.

i'm thinking for the sake of space and for organizational purposes, we should answer each others posts within "comments"...let's see if it works. that way we won't be overwhelmed with back and forths on the blog front page. my thoughts about that crazy show are under your post in the comments section :)

let the games begin!

Um...hmm...let me think...

YES!!!

Friend, I'm so pumped...just don't be upset if I overwhelm the blog with lots and lots of stuff=)

First topic of conversation:
that show on TLC with the bajillions of kids...I think it's called 20 Kids and Counting or something...
Have you seen it??
I (and some other moms from Mom's Group) think it's socially irresponsible to have so many children for a couple different reasons.
Another mom (Elya) does not...
It was a bit uncomfortable...
Thoughts?

Me

so i was thinking...

...maybe it would be cool if we could have a place where we could freely write...but only you and i could read. i created this blog so we could share thoughts, whether on books we're reading or ideas we're thinking or problems we're having. and it's private, so we don't have to worry about nosy lurkers or judgement because it's just US.

we can post a picture.
we can write a poem.
we can ask a question.
we can share a verse.
we can share a recipe.
we can get an opinion.

when we feel like it. when we have time.

you and me. we.
what do you think??
